Jill Brown is highly qualified, with an honours degree in Botany and post-graduate training in landscape building, horticulture, garden design and arboriculture, leading to the National Certificate in Horticulture (Landscape) (1991). The landscape course included the theory and practice of building works. She has been designing and building gardens since 1991.

While artistic design, enhancing views and the creation of ‘inviting’ and relaxing garden spaces is a key part of the design process, Jill's ecological training also makes her ideally suited to advise on native and wildlife-friendly planting.
