This front garden was uninspiring with very little colour interest or shape. New beds were shaped and planted to give the lawn a flowing shape and provide year round interest, softening the view of the house on approach from the road, and screening and drawing attention away from the road and driveway when viewed from inside the house. The effect is to add apparent ‘depth’ to the garden so making the house more inviting on arrival and the road seem more distant and less dominating.
